Drew Central School District Nurses
Kami Griffin, RN,BSN
Stephanie Briggs, LPN
The school nurse office is located in the elementary building across from the school office. However, it is accessible to all students of Drew Central School District throughout the school day.
The school nurses serve as liaisons between school personnel, family, community and healthcare providers to advocate for student health and a healthy school environment. The goal of the school nurse is to keep students in school, healthy, and ready to learn. Nurses monitor required immunizations, perform mandated health screenings, track communicable diseases, plan for emergencies and provide direct care to students. Please use the links below for more information about student health services.
Parents/guardians are required to complete and sign a Student Health Information Form each year. This provides us with parent and alternate contact information and basic medical information in the event of a medical emergency at school or a school-related activity. Parents/guardians are urged to include information about pre-existing medical conditions, allergies, and medications, etc. on this form. The Emergency Form is updated annually before the school year begins. Please notify the school nurse office if any of this information changes during the school year.
